These terms explain how Papas Yachting bookings, cancellations, refunds, safety requirements and boat use work. Please read them before confirming your booking.
Plan ahead.
Take the sea.
Bookings must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Dates inside that 24-hour window cannot be booked online. For urgent or same-day enquiries, contact the Papas team directly; availability is not guaranteed.
A booking request is not final until Papas Yachting has reviewed it, approved any required licence documentation and issued confirmation.
A simple, visible

Full refund
Refund of the booking amount, excluding booking and payment-processing fees already incurred.
50% refund
Refund of 50% of the booking amount, excluding booking and payment-processing fees already incurred.
Non-refundable
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time, late arrivals that prevent departure and no-shows are non-refundable.

Booking and confirmation
- Availability shown online may change while another customer completes a booking.
- Bookings requiring review remain provisional until confirmed by Papas Yachting.
- The customer must provide accurate contact, passenger and licence information.
- Prices, duration, departure point, skipper charges, extras and payment terms shown at checkout form part of the booking.
Payments, deposits and fees
- A booking may require full payment or the stated deposit, with the balance due under the option selected.
- Booking and payment-processing fees already charged by third parties are excluded from customer-requested refunds where legally permitted.
- Security deposits, fuel charges and damage liabilities are separate from the rental price unless expressly stated otherwise.
Licence or skipper
- Self-drive customers must hold a valid boating licence accepted for the selected boat and local waters.
- Licence files must be clear, current and submitted for review. Papas Yachting may reject insufficient documentation or require a skipper.
- Where a skipper is selected or required, the skipper counts toward the boat’s passenger capacity.
Weather, safety and routes
- The skipper and Papas Yachting may alter the route, departure time or duration when safety, weather, sea conditions or official restrictions require it.
- If Papas Yachting cancels because safe operation is not possible, the customer will be offered a reasonable alternative date or a refund of the boat-hire amount paid, subject to applicable law.
- Customers must follow all safety briefings and crew instructions.
Arrival and passenger conduct
- Guests should arrive at least 20 minutes before departure for check-in and handover.
- The booking customer is responsible for the conduct of the group and must disclose relevant accessibility or safety needs in advance.
- Papas Yachting may refuse or end a rental for unsafe, abusive or unlawful conduct without refund.
Boat care, fuel and damage
- Fuel is charged separately according to actual use unless the booking states otherwise.
- The customer is responsible for loss or damage caused by misuse, negligence, breach of instructions or unauthorised operation.
- Normal wear, mechanical failure not caused by the customer and pre-existing damage are not charged to the customer.
Changes and extras
- Requests to change the date, boat, duration, departure point or passenger number are subject to availability and may change the price.
- Drone filming, edited holiday media, food, equipment and other extras are supplied only when shown and confirmed in the booking.
- Some extras are available only with a Papas skipper present.
Personal information
- Customer details and licence documents are used to administer, verify and fulfil the booking.
- Documents should be shared only through the secure booking form or another channel expressly provided by Papas Yachting.
- Information is handled in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection law.
Consumer rights and applicable law
Boat rentals and leisure services reserved for a specific date may be treated differently from ordinary online purchases under EU consumer rules. These terms do not remove any consumer right that cannot legally be excluded. The booking and these terms are governed by Greek law, and disputes are subject to the competent Greek authorities and courts unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
Important: This page records Papas Yachting’s standard booking policy. If a written booking confirmation contains a specific term that differs from this page, the confirmation applies only to that booking, subject always to mandatory law.
