A family story

Born by the water.Raised in Kos.

01 · Where it began

More than a place.A way of welcoming people.

Papas Beach and Papas Yachting share one beginning: a family, a stretch of Kos shoreline and the belief that the sea should feel personal.

The Papas story began on the Kos shoreline in the early 1990s as a family-run watersports operation. The work was practical and personal: know the water, look after every guest and make a day by the sea feel effortless.

Over more than three decades, that same shoreline grew into Papas Beach, a day-to-night meeting place for sunbeds, food, cocktails, watersports and time together, and Papas Yachting, carrying the welcome beyond the beach and into the Aegean.

One family. One coastline. Two ways to meet the sea.

Papas Beach,the thread.

Early ’90s

The water first

A family-run watersports base takes shape on the Kos coast, grounded in qualified instruction, safety and the kind of welcome that turns first-time guests into familiar faces.

Papas Beach

A shoreline home

The beach becomes a full-day experience: beachfront seating and bungalows, food and drinks, music, watersports and service that lets guests settle in without watching the clock.

Papas Yachting

The islands open up

The same knowledge moves offshore. From Kos Harbour and Papas Beach, guests can take the helm with a licence or let a local skipper guide the day.
